Vicky Hurst Returns For Off-Season Workouts

Golf specific strength workouts with Vicky Hurst

LPGA golfer Vicky Hurst returned home to Melbourne, Florida to resume her off-season workouts at DeLuca’s Sports Performance where she first started taking a proactive approach to her golf-specific strength & conditioning program 4 years ago. Hurst trains daily to maintain her flexibility, while working hard to build-up her core strength and overall conditioning.

A long season on the LPGA Tour can be very taxing on a player’s body, so special attention must be placed on the post season physical and performance evaluation. Golfers are typically very one-side dominant due to the nature of their sport and any muscular imbalances must be addressed before progressing to strength and power development. Because Hurst maintains high levels of conditioning year round, she returned to her golf-sepcific strength & conditioning program almost exactly where she left off going into last season.

Hurst has the burning desire to win and work to achieve her goals. After another off-season round at DeLuca’s, we’re expecting a banner year out of Vicky for 2012.
